Los Angeles Police Foundation
In several short weeks, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers will be receiving prestigious awards for their commitment, bravery, and service. As a member of the Los Angeles community, Walker Foods values the work done by these heroic men and women, and whenever possible, we would like to shine a light on ways to show our support.
The Los Angeles Police Foundation is a non-profit group that provides critical support to the LAPD. The LAPF provides our local police heroes with new technologies, necessary training, and ongoing support for community programs, such as The Valley CARES and iWatch.
This incredible organization has humble beginnings, originally started in 1998 with the intent of simply providing first aid kits to local Los Angeles community cops. In the 20 years since the organization’s inception, it has grown to become the single greatest provider of private funding to the LAPD.
